Everybody Everywhere Needs Water!

This term we have been looking at the water cycle, and what we use water for. We have also been thinking about how much we use, and whether we could save water somehow. 

After reading about the use of water in different countries, we also realised how lucky we were to have water on tap, as we read about the problems some countries face. 

One of our homework activities was to design a water carrier - we tested them out and some were really creative- have a look at the photos! 

Last Friday, to finish off our Water Unit, we had a Wacky Hair Day and brought in a gold coin donation to raise money for a World Vision water gift. Have a look at the link on the right to see what we could buy- all the Year 3 and 4 classes together raised over $400. Well done everyone!
