Science Week

This week is Science Week and we started yesterday by asking what science was. We decided it helped us figure stuff out, and was all about explosions, experiments, how things work, and how we can change things.

Today we had a rocket launch at morning tea, and made telephones using string and paper cups. We made rice move by making loud noises, and explained this as the sound making the rice vibrate. We talked about how sound travels and agreed that this is how our telephones worked! More science to follow...!
